Fostering Great Cooperation in the Workplace

Do You Know Your Special Mission?

February 15, 2016 by Mary Motivator Rau-Foster

Solve Our Problems

Do you ever wonder if you have a special mission or purpose in life, and what it might be? Is there a hunger deep inside to feel as though you are making a difference, or leaving your mark on the world?

Know this… indeed there is a special place for each of us where we may experience the satisfaction of knowing that we have had a positive impact on our world.

A PLACE FOR ME

There’s a special place in life that needs my special skill.
A certain job that I’m meant to do, nobody else can fill.

The work is quite demanding and the hours not too good,
And yet I wouldn’t change it for a moment if I could.

There is a special place in life. A goal I must attain.
A dream that I must follow for I won’t be back again.

There is a mark that I must leave, however small it be.
A legacy of love for those who follow after me.

There is a special place in life that only I may share.
A little path that bears my name awaiting me somewhere.

There is a land that I must hold. A word that I must say.
A smile that I must give, for there are tears to blot away.

There is a special place in life that I was meant to fill.
A sunny spot where flowers grow upon a windy hill.

There is always a tomorrow and the best is yet to be,
But somewhere in this world I know there is a place for me.

Take time each day to get an emotional reading on where you are in your life. Fill that hunger with activities that will aid you in understanding your special place in this world.

Affirmation for the Week:

“I am a special person, with a special assignment to do a special job, in a special way. I look for and then seize any opportunity to make a difference in my world.”

Have a special week!
